The principle of locality means referring to the same or similar things frequently where most of the similar things always are adjacent to each other. In the Computer Science world, there are two basic types of locality of references.   They are temporal and spatial references. I feel that this principle appropriately fits in our life.

Wherever you are, the place, the surroundings, and the people will have a great impact on the way you lead your life and the way you think. When you are in place A, your mind tends to get the properties of that place A and when you move to place B, slowly and silently our mind accustoms to place B and tries to forget the place A. In our journey of life, we keep moving to different places and more often than not, the next destination depends on the previous place visited.

I feel that for what we are today and what we will be, depend on this principle of locality.
